Both of our Wallowie Beach Houses are located on the the Mornington Peninsula which is only an hour's drive from Melbourne, but it seems a world away. In fact, the Peninsula now has an air that's reminiscent of the Mediterranean, with its vineyards and olive groves, its historic country houses and gardens, seaside towns, shopping, fine restaurants, hot springs, world renowned golf courses and above all surrounded by amazing beaches, the Mornington Peninsula is a treat for all ages and interests.

While it's boot-shaped like Italy,  the Mornington Peninsula is far easier to explore at a leisurely pace. You can travel the length of our coastlines, stopping at our seaside villages, or just meander back and forth from one coast to the other on country roads with glorious views.

The Mornington Peninsula has long been a favourite destination for lazy beachside holidays that come with green hinterlands and wild ocean beaches on the side. Our wineries offer 50 cellar doors, along with restaurants and cafes set in beautifully landscaped gardens and on terraces overlooking the vines. A wine-tasting can stretch into lunch or dinner.

A game of golf on one of our 18 courses can also stretch into a post-game drink on a shady verandah or dinner in a fine restaurant.
