“We 3 families stayed for 2 nights and it was really an amazing experience. The best part of the house is the beautiful front and back yard with an excellent lawn . Our kids loved it and didn't get time to go to beach. In the main building all the bedrooms opens to nice garden views and which is a great experience in the morning. "A family affair"
“My family and I stayed at Wallowie Fields to celebrate a 70th and 30th birthday. The house is just stunning, with gorgeous stained glass doors and windows, and amazing vaulted ceilings. The bedroom configuration works well, with 3 bedrooms together at one end and a 4th at the other end of the house. The bungalow is probably best suited for a family with kids as the rooms are close together, although there is no bathroom out there, which wasn't a problem for us. The grounds are beautifully manicured, and we loved lazing around on the grass in the sun. The bbq set up and table outside served us well for a large family dinner, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook up a storm for a large group. The pool table was a novelty and provided hours of entertainment. Andrew was extremely attentive and accommodating, providing us with early check in and extended checkout at no extra cost, and ensured we had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wallowie Fields and would highly recommend.“

The house and incredibly well manicured garden gave us plenty of space for a large group and the kids really loved playing outside on open lawns. The kitchen and eating areas were well organised for communal cooking and meals and the entertainment areas served as a great area for business planning sessions. The locations felt isolated which was great as we wanted to get away from the city, but was only a short drive to local beaches, the bay, and shops at Rye. We found this to be a great house for our family. Plenty of room for the children to play inside and out. The kitchen/dining/sitting area was large enough to hold all 14 of of us. The walk in pantry was a plus for us with two coeliacs needing a gluten free prep area. The cottage was also a great chill out zone for the teens. "WHAT A PLACE TO STAY"
What a place to stay! We stayed over Christmas with an extended family of 14. There was plenty of space for all, plenty of bedrooms to spread out in so we weren't on top of each other and 2 living spaces to hang out in. The garden was delightful and green despite the hot weather. Sheets and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and basics like oil sugar and tea. Ample room for lots of family fun, would highly reccomend this holiday home. Don't forget your board games!

We had a wonderful family birthday weekend at Wallowie Fields Beach house. The house is incredibly spacious, especially as we had 3 generations under one roof. Lots of fun activities to be done within the property, and extremely child friendly. Despite being August, we took advantage of the sunshine to have a BBQ, and the house is well suited to cooking for big groups. At night the wood fires kept the large rooms toasty. We also enjoyed the local food and wine recommendations from Andrew - Red Hill had a fantastic range of producers! I couldn't recommend the property more highly and only hope that we can get back in the summer!

Recently booked this property for a weekend away with 4 couples, 2 singles and 2 babies. It was the perfect size for the group. The property had all the right amenities and the gardens are lovely - really relaxing and lots of space to lose each other/hang out. Pool table was great fun and the kitchen/dining was large enough to all pitch in without getting under each other's feet. The beach was a little less accessible that we thought but it was still easy to find.

What a wonderful property. It was spacious and clean and catered to our every need. We were a large group and it was great that we could all be together but also have our own space if needed. The kitchen was large and had a wide variety of pots and pans which made cooking easy. I also loved that there were 2 fridges as we were a lot of people so there was plenty of room to store all our food and drinks!

What a fantastic property for those who are looking to accommodate a large number of people, the property's living areas are quite spacious allowing everyone to spread out - 2 x living areas, we had the younger generations in one room playing board games & the oldies in the other chatting away. 4 Generations of girls = 11 people occupying the house, we were happy to find a large backyard for the younger ones to explore. Rye back beach not far for walking. Andrew kept in contact before the stay to ensure all was in order. The bottle of sparkling on arrival was a pleasant surprise and enjoyed by all (except the young ones). Wallowie Fields was a great Easter holiday destination for our extended family. There was no trouble with 9 adults and 6 children. With 2 large living areas we never felt like we were stepping on toes. The large yard with it's cubby and was great for the kids to run around and ride their bikes and made for a special Easter Egg hunt.
